Zelio E Mobility has unveiled the Gracy+ electric scooter, catering to urban commuters seeking affordable and practical mobility solutions. Priced at ₹58,000 onwards, the updated scooter introduces various enhancements to meet the needs of cost-conscious users while bolstering Zelio’s presence in the Indian market.
Featuring six battery options, including Lithium-Ion and Gel variants, the Gracy+ offers a range of up to 130 km on a single charge, making it ideal for daily commutes. With a maximum speed of 25 km/h, the scooter falls under the low-speed category, appealing to a broad audience without requiring a driving license in most Indian states.
From a technical standpoint, the Gracy+ emphasizes practicality over performance upgrades, boasting a 60/72V BLDC motor with a power efficiency of 1.8 units per full charge. The scooter’s increased ground clearance of 180 mm enhances its capability to navigate diverse Indian road conditions, while its 88 kg weight capacity and 150 kg payload make it suitable for delivery personnel, office workers, and students.
The scooter’s charging times vary depending on the battery type, with Lithium-Ion versions taking around four hours and Gel batteries requiring eight to twelve hours for a full charge. Additionally, the model comes equipped with improved braking systems, including a drum brake at the front, a disc brake at the rear, and hydraulic shock absorbers for enhanced comfort.
On the features front, the Gracy+ boasts a digital display, keyless start, daytime running lights, anti-theft alarm, USB charging port, parking gear, and a pillion footrest. It is available in four color options: White, Grey, Black, and Blue.
While the recent updates do not drastically alter the scooter’s position in Zelio’s product lineup, they underscore the company’s commitment to refining its offerings based on user feedback and market demands. Zelio is backing the Gracy+ with service guarantees, including a two-year vehicle warranty, a three-year warranty for Lithium-Ion batteries, and a one-year warranty for Gel batteries.
This launch coincides with Zelio E Mobility’s expansion efforts in the Indian market. Established in 2021, the company has already set up over 400 dealerships and serves more than two lakh customers. With plans to increase its dealership count to 1,000 by the end of 2025, the Gracy+ facelift is poised to enhance the brand’s visibility and acceptance, particularly among budget-conscious consumers in the electric mobility segment.
