Royal Enfield is set to introduce its first electric motorcycle under the Flying Flea brand, starting with the C6 model slated for launch in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026, as reported by ET Auto. Following the C6, the brand plans to unveil the S6, expanding its electric vehicle lineup. While details on the operational aspects and dealership network are yet to be fully disclosed, the brand has been actively showcasing the Flying Flea C6.

The Flying Flea C6 first made its debut at EICMA and has since been exhibited in India. The motorcycle’s test mule has been spotted undergoing trials, offering a peek into its design and functionality. Boasting a blend of retro and modern styles, the bike features circular LED lighting, a slender frame with an aluminum chassis, girder forks, split seat configuration, and black alloy wheels, reminiscent of classic motorcycles.

The bike’s streamlined body integrates a magnesium casing to regulate airflow, indicating a focus on both aesthetics and performance. While specific technical specifications remain undisclosed, the C6 is expected to offer a range of around 100 kilometers, ideal for urban commuting. With a strong emphasis on lightweight construction, the bike is designed to weigh under 100 kilograms to enhance maneuverability and efficiency.
In addition to its stylish design, Royal Enfield has invested significantly in integrating cutting-edge technology into the C6. The motorcycle is anticipated to be one of the most feature-rich offerings from the brand, featuring a round touchscreen display for functions like voice control, connectivity, and more. To power these advanced features, the company has incorporated Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor into the bike’s architecture.
Mario Alvisi, the Chief Growth Officer for Electric Vehicles at Royal Enfield, highlighted that the C6 will embody the brand’s commitment to innovation and modernization, catering to the evolving needs of consumers in the electric vehicle market. The motorcycle is poised to set new benchmarks in terms of features, performance, and user experience, reflecting Royal Enfield’s dedication to pushing boundaries and staying ahead in the electric mobility sector.
As the electric vehicle landscape continues to evolve, traditional motorcycle manufacturers like Royal Enfield are strategically pivoting towards sustainable, eco-friendly alternatives to meet changing consumer preferences and regulatory requirements. The launch of the Flying Flea C6 signifies a significant milestone for Royal Enfield, marking its foray into the electric motorcycle segment and signaling a shift towards a more environmentally conscious future in the automotive industry.
