It enables the display of real-time speed up to 14-15mph; beyond these speeds, the bike’s display will reflect slower than actual speeds.
Activating the Peartune tuning kit is simple and convenient, directly from your bike’s display. Just press the ‘LIGHT’ button, and you’re set to cruise at speeds up to 31mph! Deactivating is equally straightforward – a single press of the ‘LIGHT’ button will revert your e-bike to its original settings, as if the chip was never installed. If your e-bike doesn’t have the Light feature, avoid connecting the red cable. The tuning kit will automatically activate when you power on your e-bike.
This Peartune tuning kit is a perfect fit for all Shimano EP8 motors, and is compatible with all Shimano displays designed for EP8 motors.
