The Prodigy X, a remarkable addition to the esteemed PRODIGY series, encapsulates 12 years and nine generations of advanced, professional-grade scooter technology. We’ve retained the iconic Prodigy features, including the lightweight Aluminium Reaper V2 bars, the soft yet tenacious TPR V2 Handgrips, and our rock-solid Diamond IHC forks.
The rest of the scooter has been reimagined with significant enhancements. Central to the scooter is our deck; for the X Series, we’ve engineered a brand new deck extrusion – the Extech. This innovative extrusion showcases a subtle, streamlined profile, broader internal walls, and a boxy construction that highlights a highly responsive concave.
The PX Headtube has been reconstructed to ensure increased deck contact, featuring an elegant diamond cutout and a refined profile. The PX deck now boasts broader dimensions at 5”W x 19.5” L, which contribute to reducing the overall weight while maintaining robust strength.
Situated on the new deck are a series of improved elements. Grip tape with an elevated grit count guarantees enhanced grip and longevity. We’ve included sleek new nylon plugs and an upgraded v2 Nylon brake system to complement our new extrusion. The LOW stack headset compression cap has been restructured to integrate seamlessly with our IHC compression system.
The ‘Z’ 2 bolt oversized clamp, now with 6mm bolts, has been meticulously refined to harmonize flawlessly with our Bar, Fork, and Compression assembly. The scooter rolls smoothly on the SECTOR 120mm x 26mm PU wheels 86A, the increased PU width aiding core protection and providing a smoother ride.
